Healthcare is an important topic as far as UPSC exam is concerned. Health is the cornerstone of economic growth and given India’s dismal performance in providing quality healthcare to its citizens, there have been vociferous calls for overhauling the system. Various unethical practices are prevalent in private healthcare sector, which caters to more than 70% of the population.
