Lack of Political Will is the Main Cause for India’s Low Ranking in Human Development Index despite Relatively High Levels of Economic Growth
What exactly explains India’s position where despite good economic growth, most of its population find it difficult to access quality health, education, housing and other services? Is it huge population? Is it lack of resources? Is it because of certain fault in our political economy? Why are we struggling to improve our ranking in HDI when government seems to spend so much on us?
