Is it Possible to Reduce Inequality in India?
It seems we have moved past from the ‘How to reduce inequality’ phase to a cynical phase of -if at all it is possible to reduce inequality- in India. Is anyone, at the level of policymakers, seriously debating the issue at all? Is inequality in India taken for granted? Is Inequality an accepted part of our society? Why have measures from government failed to reduce inequality? Should inequality exist in a system so as to ‘provide’ cheap services to the rich? Is inequality made to exist by vested interests?
