……………
The fear of loss and the reality of failure!
We have talked about a lot of things on this forum and most of them have been to address the various challenges you face during the course of the examination. There are some of them which you can toss away at ease, there are some others which stand right in front of you and threaten to grope you by your neck and make sure you succumb to it.
But having said that, we have always dealt with the thought that fear is a much weaker force than your determination and the will to succeed. For now, we will be focussing on the latter and find a way to push the former to the side. We talk about what to think about and what not to, we also talked about how we should be exam confident.
Today, we shall try and talk about the things you should keep away from you
1) The fear of not clearing the exam
2) The anxiety of how the society would react if you don’t
3) The amount of hard work you have put in and why you deserve it so badly
4) All the sacrifices and the pain you have gone through to appear to this exam
5) The number of people relying on you to clear this exam
6) The impact this exam can have on your life..
And so on.. All these thoughts are very real, all these thoughts are very true. But be aware that these thoughts although valid can be a deterrent factor for you now. They were probably the right thoughts at the start of the preparation or maybe right even a month or two ago. But now, at this crunch time, the focus is between you and the exam paper alone and nothing else. If you are letting anything else come in the way, then you perhaps should find a way not to do that. Brace yourselves, train yourselves, that is the one way you are going to clear this exam!
