MOTIVATION : What questions do you ask about UPSC?

~V.Nagaraju – Inspire99.com

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

What is the most complicated thing when it comes to this exam? Is it time, hard work, guidance, competition… Take your pick. I would say it is about asking the right question. For instance if you are asking yourself – CAN I DO IT? – well you are wasting your time. That answer is not going to lead you anywhere, atleast nowhere productive, it would mostly be a day dreaming exercise. Instead if you ask, How can I do it? How can I do it faster? What better can I do? How can my study today be better than yesterday? What is the plan for this week and this day? How am I going to tackle different options, how I am going to prioritize them.

Well those are a few instances. Not asking yourself as to what the reasons are so that you cannot do it. That is not going to give you anything, nothing useful atleast. And trust me the questions are not complicated, it is the attitude to be asking those questions. You can very well spend a lot of time asking the questions which help you and a lot more which cannot. The choices you make is the direction in which the exam is going to take you in.
