Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
Ideas rule, they take shape, they make a difference. They make what is seemingly impossible possible and vice versa. The same can be extended to events and the same to people as well. Taken in the right spirit and the larger picture of the goal everything makes sense when taken in the right strides. On the course of study, we do meet a lot of people, some more interesting than the other. How do we differentiate, how do we make sure whom to spend more time with and why?
Well I would say, look at the goal. What do you want to do? The simplest answer is to clear the exam. What is the best way to do that? What gets you closer? Ideas? Events that come through the ideas and people those who make those ideas a reality. It is easy and natural to discuss people, events and ideas all the same. Nothing is good or bad, the only question being what helps you the most and that helps you identify where and what you spend most time with.
